To support our continued growth in Aruba we are looking for a third person to join our client relations team. It will be your job to ensure our homeowners are as happy as our guests, by making sure their properties are well cared for and producing strong commercial results. You will act as the owners' representative within the company, ensuring their interests are front and center in everything we do.

Bocobay is revolutionizing hospitality through innovative, tech-powered service and inspiring, thoughtfully designed accommodations combined into one seamlessly managed experience. Launched in 2020 in Aruba, we have since expanded to Curaçao, Jamaica and the Dominican Republic. We won't stop here, and our ambition is to build a Caribbean-wide hospitality brand.

Your Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities as Client Relations Manager include:

• Acting as the primary contact person for homeowners within Bocobay

• Building strong personal relationships with your homeowners

• Becoming the resident expert on all properties under your management (this involves visiting the properties frequently!)

• Coordinating with other teams to guarantee a high level of service for homeowners

• Driving the commercial delivery of the properties under your management

• Updating internal systems such as CRMs and databases to ensure other teams are kept up to date on your homeowners and their properties

You will have significant opportunity to shape our operations in Aruba and grow with the company. The above job description is to be read as a minimum viable product - there is lots more you could get involved in, based on your interest, aptitude and initiative!

What We Look For

• Past experience in a client-facing role and with responsibility for commercial delivery

• Ability to build trust quickly with internal and external stakeholders

• A high degree of ownership and attention to detail

• Fluency in English is a must (bonus points if you speak Dutch, Spanish or Papiementu)

• A valid driver's licence and willingness to use a personal car for work travel is required (work travel will be reimbursed)

Important to note

We are a dynamic company with ambitious growth plans, and this is not a 9-to-5 role (at least not always). The nature of our business means that urgent requests can come in at all times, and while we always try to make sure our staff get sufficient rest and time off, hospitality hours can be long and unpredictable during peak times. This reality is offset by flexibility around working hours during quiet times: Our default is to trust our employees, and we encourage you to make up for extra hours worked by clocking off early when there is the possibility to do so (coordinating with your team members).
