Bocobay is revolutionizing hospitality through innovative, tech-powered service and inspiring, thoughtfully designed accommodations combined into one seamlessly managed experience. Launched in 2020 in Aruba, Bocobay is a private-equity backed business bringing a new standard to the Caribbean vacation rental market. We are now set to expand to our third island, Jamaica base in Runaway Bay.

The Villa Housekeeper will maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, order, and presentation, providing a welcoming, comfortable, and luxurious environment for guests while supporting the operational efficiency of the villa property.


Knowledge & Requirements:
  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent

  • Previous housekeeping experience in luxury hotels, resorts, or private residences is preferred (1–3 years)

  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques, tools, and products

  • Basic knowledge of laundry and linen care

  • Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Professional appearance and demeanor

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English;

Experience:

Must have basic knowledge of villa housekeeping operations, understanding the standards of cleanliness and presentation expected, and what is required of you on a daily basis to ensure each villa is guest-ready.

Functions and Responsibilities:

Villa Cleaning and Preparation

  • Clean and maintain all areas of the villa, including bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas, kitchens, and outdoor spaces as required

  • Make beds, change linens, and replenish amenities

  • Ensure all furniture, fixtures, and equipment are cleaned and in good condition

Guest Readiness

  • Prepare villas for guest arrivals according to standards

  • Ensure all supplies, linens, and amenities are stocked and presented neatly

Laundry and Linen Care

  • Collect, wash, dry, iron, and organize linens and towels

  • Handle delicate fabrics with care to prevent damage

Inventory and Supplies

  • Monitor cleaning supplies and amenities, reporting shortages to the supervisor

  • Assist with stock rotation and storage

Reporting and Coordination

  • Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns promptly

  • Work closely with the Villa Supervisor, GM, and other staff to coordinate schedules and tasks

Compliance and Safety

  • Follow all hygiene, safety, and operational standards

  • Handle cleaning chemicals and equipment safely
