As one of our early hires in Curaçao you will play a crucial role in helping us amaze our guests with five-star experiences. You need to be an all-rounder and problem solver, who is as comfortable providing frontline guest services as they are representing Bocobay in front of property owners, coordinating quick action with suppliers, and making sure our internal systems are kept up to date with all relevant information. In short, you're a buck-stops-with-me kind of person who never says that's not my job.

Bocobay is revolutionizing hospitality through innovative, tech-powered service and inspiring, thoughtfully designed accommodations combined into one seamlessly managed experience. Launched in 2020 in Aruba, Bocobay is an international business bringing a new standard to the Caribbean vacation rental market. In late 2024 we expanded our operations to Curaçao, where we're already the highest-rated vacation rental management company - and we're on track to becoming the largest, too!

As Hospitality Agent you are the vital link between our tried & tested Bocobay systems & processes and the implementation of 5-star guest experiences on the ground. Your operational base will be the front desk at one of our Bocobay resorts. Here you will assist guests with checking in, make them feel welcome, provide tips and guidance on local activities and amenities, and manage services like towel exchanges. You will also travel to other properties on the island as needed to provide similar services. On top of that you will assist with back-office tasks such as doing inventories, checking up on properties, managing keys and updating listing information. In hospitality, a lot of problems are most easily solved by someone who is on the ground, so we expect you to be proactive in spotting and resolving issues before they affect guests, as well as being a friendly face who can provide pragmatic solutions for guests when inevitably the occasional issue does slip through.

As an early employee, you will have significant opportunity to shape our operations in Curaçao and grow with the company. The above job description is to be read as a minimum viable product - there is so much more you could get involved in, based on your interest, aptitude and initiative! Examples could include helping us set up our local referral program (where we send customers to local businesses in exchange for a commission), proposing improvements to Bocobay-wide processes (we never stop learning!), or helping with listing marketing (if a listing is underperforming, perhaps you can help us understand why?).

Important to note

We are a start-up company with ambitious growth plans, and we are looking for team members who are flexible and willing to evolve and grow with the company. This role will require shift working 5 days per week, including weekends. Hours can vary according to business needs, with shifts currently starting from 8 am and finishing up to 7 pm.
